Thy Will Be Done - Coming Home, Day #10

When an artist can use tragedy to bring comfort and truth to others, to me that is my favorite type.
Hillary Scott, one of the trio of Lady Antebellum, recently released an album of faith with her family entitled "Love Remains."
In it, we hear the haunting song, "Thy Will," that was written after Hillary's miscarriage.
The lyrics, orchestration and melody are all so masterfully performed.

Following are the lyrics - in part - that feel as though my life is being described...

THY WILL (listen here)

I don't wanna think
I may never understand
That my broken heart is a part of your plan.
When I try to pray
All I've got is hurt and these four words...

Thy will be done
Thy will be done
Thy will be done
Thy will be done
Thy will be done
Thy will be done
Like a child on my knees all that comes to me is
Thy will be done
Thy will be done
I know you see me
I know you hear me, Lord
Your plans are for me
Goodness you have in store.

So...thy will be done...

Four simple words that can change one's life.
This song has been filling my home lately mainly because I am resonating with that feeling of trying to understand God's promises amidst the pain.
It is constantly on my mind and in my aural senses.
It's another that I'm grateful to share here in the hopes of bringing comfort and truth to those who are walking a similar path.

Oh, blessed, even in the hurt and confusion, to live His will and not mine.
His plan being revealed day by day...

{Time is a precious commodity lately.
Grateful to be able to sit and write for 15 minutes today
as part of the #write31days challenge.
Thanks for stopping by.}
